Beyond Possible Day 7 - May 5

Let’s prayerfully read & reflect on Genesis chapter 5. What stands out to you as a
highlight? How would you explain your highlight to a friend? What application is
this highlight for your life? What does this do to your heart?

Let’s focus on the man, Enoch, in vs. 21 – 24 – “Enoch walked with God.” Also
give prayerful attention to Hebrews 11:5–6 – “By faith, Enoch was taken away, and
so he did not experience death. He was not to be found because God took him
away. For before he was taken away, he was approved as one who pleased God.
6  Now without faith it is impossible to please God, since the one who draws near to
him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

How did Enoch have a pleasing walk with God?

What makes Enoch’s walk with God super special?

How can you and I place a smile into the heart of God by pleasing Him?

Pause and Pray – “Abba Father, more than anything I desire to place a smile in
your heart by sincerely placing my faith in You. I believe that You are the eternal,
ever-present Lord; I believe that you reward those who seek You. My heart
pursues you and draws near to You through Jesus. As I face the challenge of
_____________, I desire to place my faith in You. My answer is ‘Yes’ before I even
know the outcomes, for I pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
