Each week we want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, friendly people and atmosphere that are a part of Sarasota Baptist Church. We know that your first time at a church, any church, brings up some questions - what should I wear?… what’s available for my children?… what should I expect in church? Here is a quick look at what you can expect to experience when you join us for a worship gathering.

What should I wear?
Dress how you feel comfortable and you will fit in. Our people come dressed in everything from casual weekend attire to suits.

What’s available for my kids?
We have Sunday School (Community Groups) for children of all ages!

What happens when I arrive?
Our greeters will welcome you and answer any questions you may have. You will be invited to attend a small group (Community Group - Small Group Bible Study) or our worship service. When you enter the worship center, an usher will give you a worship guide (bulletin). The worship guide has information about the services for the day and upcoming opportunities at Sarasota Baptist. It also includes a perforated information card. During the service, our guests are encouraged to complete that card and to exchange it at the lobby information desk after the service for a gift bag. This is our way to communicate with you;  you can introduce yourself to us including only the information you are comfortable sharing and we can give you information about our church along with other welcome gifts. We will never single you out during the service. 

Where will I sit?
Feel free to find any empty seat. If you need assistance finding a seat, our friendly ushers will gladly help.

What is a typical service like?
Instead of trying to describe our services, why not watch one for yourself! We have two campuses to choose from and while our weekly messages are the same across both campuses, we have morning and evening services, we're sure to have a style you enjoy!
