Raised to Walk Devo Day 26 - April 26

Let’s prayerfully reflect on Romans chapter 12. As you
read the passage, do the following:

H- highlight the verses that stand out to you.
E – explain the verse(s) in your own words of what
God is saying to you.
A – apply the verse to your life. (What would it look
like to live this truth in your
life?)
R – respond in prayer by writing your heart to God.

What does it look like to “offer your members to God
as instruments of righteousness?” (Romans 6) Let’s
focus on Vs. 1, 2 - Romans 12:1–2 – “Therefore, I
urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy,
to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and
pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.
2  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be
transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you
will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his
good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Prayerfully picture an altar in the presence of the Lord.
See yourself climbing up on the altar to present your
body as a living sacrifice. Ask the Holy Spirit to be the
fire that consumes you in His love.

Write out a prayer ‘offering your body to God.’ – i.e.
eyes, nose, ears, mouth, hands, feet, etc.
