Galatians Devotional - February 7

Read & Reflect
Let’s prayerfully read Galatians 1 (The rhythm of repetition helps to focus the mind, creating a space for contemplation and connection with the text).
Does any new highlight stand out to you?
How would you explain this passage to a friend?
What application might this have to your life?

Focus on Galatians 1:18-24
Paul describes how God called him at just the right time for His purpose.
 Verses 18-24:
Paul did not immediately step into ministry—God took time to shape him before sending him out.
He met key leaders but was largely unknown in person to the churches.
Yet, despite this, God was working—the believers praised God because of Paul’s transformation.
Reflection:
Where have you seen God’s perfect timing at work in your life?
How is He calling you to serve Him today, even if the timing doesn’t seem ideal?

Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your sovereign timing. Even when I don’t understand, I trust that You are working all things for Your glory. Help me to be patient and faithful as I wait for Your plans to unfold. Open my eyes to how I can serve You today, right where I am.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Action Step
Think of one area where you’ve been struggling with impatience.
Surrender it to God in prayer, trusting His perfect timing and plan.

Journal Prompt
Write about how God’s grace has been evident in your life.
How does the gospel shape your identity and daily walk with Him?
Reflect on a time when you didn’t understand His timing but later saw His hand at work. How can you trust God’s timing more fully today?
