Galatians Devotional - February 14

Read & Reflect
Let’s prayerfully read Galatians 2 (Repeating a Bible passage can uncover new insights and strengthen one's faith).
  • What new highlight stands out to you?
  • How would you explain this to a friend?
  • What application might this have in your life?
Zoom Into Galatians 2:17-20
Paul declares in verse 20:
“I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me.”
This verse calls us to a radical surrender—our old self is dead, and now Jesus is the center of our lives.
Reflection Questions:
  • What does it mean for you to live a life surrendered to Christ?
  • Are there areas of your life where you are still holding on to control instead of surrendering fully to Him?
  • How would your daily choices change if you fully embraced the truth that “Christ lives in you”?
Prayer
Lord,
I surrender my life to You. Help me to live in the freedom of being crucified with Christ—where it’s no longer about my will, my desires, or my strength, but about You living in me. Guide my choices today so that my life reflects Your grace, love, and truth.
Jesus, be Jesus in me; no longer me, but Thee.
Resurrection power, fill me this hour.
Jesus, be Jesus in me!
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step
  • Write a prayer or affirmation declaring your surrender to Christ.
  • Keep it somewhere visible this week (mirror, journal, phone wallpaper).
  • Let it be a daily reminder that Christ lives in you, guiding your thoughts and actions.
  • What is one step you can take today to live fully surrendered to Christ?
