Read & Reflect
Let’s prayerfully read Galatians 2 (Repetition leads to deeper meditation).
Paul boldly declares:
“I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died for nothing.”
This verse reminds us that salvation is through faith in Christ alone—not by works, religious performance, or human effort. If we could earn righteousness on our own, Christ’s sacrifice would be unnecessary. But because we cannot, His grace is our only hope.
Reflection Questions:
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for Your unearned and abundant grace. I confess that sometimes I try to earn Your approval, forgetting that I am already justified by faith, not by works. Teach me to trust in Your grace alone and to walk in the freedom Christ has given me. Help me to live daily in the truth that Jesus’ sacrifice is enough.
Lord, deepen my trust in You.
Help me to rest in the assurance of being made right by faith,
not by anything I could ever do.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.

- Are there areas in your life where you still strive to earn God’s approval rather than resting in His grace?
- How can you rest more fully in God’s grace this week?
