Galatians Devotional - February 20

Read & Reflect
Let’s prayerfully read Galatians 3 (Repetition leads to deeper meditation).
  • Does any new highlight stand out to you?
  • How would you explain this to a friend?
  • What application might this have in your life?
Zoom Into Galatians 3:15-18
Paul emphasizes that God’s covenant of grace cannot be canceled.
Galatians 3:17 – “The law, which came 430 years later, does not revoke a covenant that was previously ratified by God and cancel the promise.”
God’s promises are unchanging and eternal. Just as His covenant with Abraham was not undone by the law, His promises to you are not dependent on circumstances or your performance.
Reflection Questions:
  • Do you ever doubt God’s promises? What situations make it hard for you to trust?
  • How can you remind yourself of His faithfulness when doubts arise?
  • What does the unchanging nature of God’s promises mean for your faith?
Prayer
Father,
Thank You for Your faithfulness and the certainty of Your promises. I confess that sometimes I let doubt or worry shake my trust in You. Help me to stand firm in faith, resting in Your unchanging grace. Thank You that Your covenant is secure, and I can rely on You no matter what comes my way.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step
  • Write down one area of life where you need to rest in God’s promises instead of striving or worrying.
  • Speak His truth over that situation daily as a reminder that His grace is unchanging and sufficient.
  • How will you remind yourself of God’s faithfulness this week?
