Galatians Devotional - February 22

Read & Reflect
Let’s prayerfully read Galatians 3 (Repetition leads to deeper meditation).
  • Does any new highlight stand out to you?
  • How would you explain this to a friend?
  • What application might this have in your life?
Zoom Into Galatians 3:26-29
Through faith, we are children of God and clothed in Christ.
Galatians 3:26-27 – “For through faith you are all sons of God in Christ Jesus. For those of you who were baptized into Christ have been clothed with Christ.”
This truth defines our identity. We are no longer defined by our past, our failures, or our status, but by our relationship with Jesus.
Reflection Questions:
  • Do you truly live as a child of God, or do you struggle with insecurity or comparison?
  • How does knowing your identity in Christ free you to love and serve others?
Prayer
Father,
Thank You for adopting me as Your child and clothing me in Christ. I rejoice in the freedom I have in You—freedom from comparison, fear, and striving. Help me to fully embrace my identity in You and extend that same grace to others. Show me where I still live as if I’m under the law, and lead me deeper into Your love and truth.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Action Step
  • Reach out to someone in your faith community.
  • Encourage them in their identity as a child of God.
  • Remind them that they are loved, chosen, and clothed in Christ.
  • How does embracing your identity in Christ change the way you see yourself and others?
