Read & Reflect
Let’s prayerfully read Galatians 4, recalling our sermon theme: WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? (Repetition leads to deeper meditation).
Paul warns the Galatians against returning to slavery—falling back into the worldly principles they were once freed from.
Galatians 4:9 – “But now, since you know God, or rather have become known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elements? Do you want to be enslaved to them all over again?”
As believers, we are free in Christ, yet sometimes we are tempted to return to old habits, legalism, or worldly thinking.
Reflection Questions:
Father,
Thank You for setting me free from the things that once enslaved me. Forgive me when I am tempted to return to old habits or ways of thinking. Help me to stand firm in Your truth and grace, knowing that I am fully accepted and loved in Christ. Keep me from chasing after things that pull me away from You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
