Galatians Devotional - February 27

Read & Reflect
Let’s prayerfully read Galatians 4 (Repetition leads to deeper meditation).
  • Does any new highlight stand out to you?
  • How would you explain this to a friend?
  • What application might this have in your life?
Zoom Into Galatians 4:17-20
Paul expresses his deep concern for the Galatians, longing to see Christ fully formed in them.
Galatians 4:19 – “My children, I am again suffering labor pains for you until Christ is formed in you.”
  • Discipleship requires patience, perseverance, and love.
  • Paul agonized over their spiritual growth.
  • He did not give up, even when they were struggling or drifting away.
  • True discipleship is not just about teaching, but about walking alongside others in faith.
Reflection Questions:
  • How do Paul’s words challenge you to persevere in guiding others to spiritual maturity?
  • Are there people in your life whom God has called you to mentor, disciple, or encourage?
  • How can you remain faithful in loving and guiding others, even when it’s difficult?
Prayer
Father,
Thank you for the people who have guided me in my faith journey. Help me to be faithful in discipling others and encouraging spiritual growth in those around me. Give me perseverance when discipleship feels slow, and help me to love patiently and selflessly, just as Paul did for the Galatians.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
