Tearing Down the False Altars
Read: Judges 6
Key Verse: Judges 6:25 – “Tear down your father’s altar to Baal and cut down the Asherah pole beside it.”

Why did God instruct Gideon to destroy the idols in his family’s home before leading Israel?
Are there any "altars" in your life—habits, relationships, or fears (imparted by family)—that you need to tear down to fully follow God?
What steps can you take to remove distractions that keep you from trusting God?
Prayer:
Abba Father, reveal any idols in my life that take Your place. One altar I desire You remove from my life is _________________. Give me the strength to remove curses and follow You wholeheartedly. I pray humbly in Jesus’ name, Amen.
