Asking for a Sign
Read: Judges 6
Key Verse: Judges 6:36-37 – “Gideon said to God, ‘If you will save Israel by my hand as you have promised—look, I will place a wool fleece on the threshing floor.”
Questions to prayerfully ponder:
Why do you think Gideon asked for a sign even after hearing God’s promise?
Have you ever struggled with trusting God and looked for extra confirmation?
How can you build faith in God’s promises instead of relying on signs?
Prayer:
Lord God, increase my capacity to trust Your Word when I struggle with doubt or feelings of inadequacy. I sense You are calling me to ____________________. Strengthen my faith in Your promises. I pray humbly in Jesus’ name, Amen.
