Preserving Truth in a Changing World

Read: 2 Timothy 4

Key Verse: 2 Timothy 4:2

Inductive Questions:
  • What is our responsibility with God’s Word? (As disciples of Jesus, this means more than preaching a sermon from a stage—it means carrying the truth of Scripture into our daily lives. We are called to live the Word, speak it in ordinary conversations, encourage others with it, correct in love, and point people to Jesus through it. Preaching the Word as a lifestyle looks like sharing a verse with a coworker, comforting a hurting friend with biblical truth, or guiding your family in God’s ways. It's not about having a microphone—it's about having a message and living it boldly.)
  • How can you be prepared to speak truth in every season? (See 1 Peter 3:15—“Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have.” This means living in such a way that your life invites questions—and when they come, you're ready to gently and respectfully share the hope of Jesus. Whether in a conversation with a friend, coworker, or neighbor, being prepared means having both the confidence and compassion to point others to Christ through your story and His Word.)
  • What does it mean to encourage and correct with patience?

Prayer: Lord, help me stand on Your unchanging truth. Equip me to share it with love and courage.

Reflection: I will stand for truth today by ___________. I humbly pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
