Love That Sets Us Apart

Read: John 13

Key Verse: John 13:35 – “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

Inductive Questions:

• According to Jesus, what should distinguish His followers from the world?
• How does love serve as evidence of true discipleship? (1 John 3:14 says, "We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love each other." Likewise, 1 John 4:7-8 teaches that love comes from God, and anyone who loves is born of God and knows God. True disciples reflect Jesus by loving others sacrificially, patiently, and sincerely—just as He loved us.)
• What is one way you can demonstrate Christ-like love this week?

Prayer: Father, let my love for others be a testimony of my faith in You. Help me to love in a way that reflects Your grace and truth.
