Living as Christ’s Ambassador

Read: 2 Corinthians 5

Key Verse: 2 Corinthians 5:20 – “We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”

Inductive Questions:
  • What does it mean to be an ambassador for Christ? (Just as a U.S. ambassador—like Mike Huckabee, who serves as an ambassador to Israel—represents the interests and voice of their nation in another land, a Christian ambassador represents the heart and message of Jesus to a world that does not yet know Him. Ambassadors live under the authority of the one who sent them. They speak not their own opinions, but on behalf of their leader. Likewise, as Christ's ambassadors, we are sent with His authority to reflect His love, speak His truth, and invite others into reconciliation with God.)
  • How does God make His appeal through you?
  • What message are you communicating to the world today?

Prayer: Jesus, let me faithfully represent You to everyone I meet. Speak through me as Your ambassador.

Reflection: I will represent Christ today by ___________. I humbly pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
