With our services are just reopening in our worship center, we are still trying to figure things out,
Please check out the information below for What To Expect, normally, at Sarasota Baptist Church.

Whether you are new in town or new to Jesus, checking out churches can be really hard. Where do I go? What do I do with my kids? What will the music be like? What is the teaching like? What will people be wearing? Will it be weird? Am I wasting a Sunday morning only to find out that this is just not the right fit for me? These are all valid questions to ask when looking for a church. Here is a brief run-down of what to expect at Sarasota Baptist.

We have ample parking. If you are a first time guest, look for the signs. We have reserved spaces just for you!

As you arrive on our campus, you’ll find signs pointing you towards the kids areas. If you are dropping your children off before a service, give yourself extra time to get them checked in. Check-in opens 20 minutes before our services begin. We take your kids safety very seriously by doing full background checks on every single person serving in Kid’s Rock. Classes are fun and high energy. Biblical truth is the core of everything we teach.

Feel free to grab a coffee at our welcome kiosk located out in front of the worship center. OUR WORSHIP SERVICES Head on into the Worship Center and you will notice an easy-going environment where people are dressed casually. If you arrive early, you’ll have no problem finding a seat. If you arrive a little late and the room looks full, don’t worry . . . we’ll help direct you to an open spot.

You’ll find people in the lobby area wearing name tags. Those volunteers are there to help you. We make it obvious because we want you to be able to find out what you need to find out. If they don’t know the answer to your question, they can probably find someone who does.

If you’ve been to a few different churches, you know that musical styles can vary quite a bit. We feel that variety is good. We also feel that worship should be multigenerational. Expect to see adults, students and children leading our worship time. Our worship team included vocals, band and instrumentalists that each bring their own style to our services. The bottom line for us is that our worship is designed to point you to Jesus. It’s not about the stage or the lights or the talent of the musicians and vocalists. It’s about Jesus.

Our teaching is focused on the Bible. You can follow along the pastors’ message online or using a provided note sheet. As a church, we are all storytellers telling God’s story. Our services are designed to help you worship and grow in your relationship with Jesus.
