Good Lord’s Day morning to you! We can’t wait to gather as a church family today as we Live His Mission.
As you prayerfully read Luke chapter 21, what is God saying to you through today’s reading? How is God’s love being demonstrated to you in this chapter?
Notice Verses 1 - 4 that true generosity is highlighted. Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all of them. 4 For all these people have put in gifts out of their surplus, but she out of her poverty has put in all she had to live on.”
Consider your level of generosity to kingdom causes of advancing Jesus’ mission. Ask the Lord to increase your level of generosity to advance His kingdom.
Abba Father, as I consider the generosity of this widow who put in all she had to live on, I am reminded of how You gave Your Son in demonstration of Your love for me. I love You, because You first loved me. May Your generous love inspire my giving to living your mission, for I humbly pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.
