What to expect
Energetic Worship
We love to lift Jesus’ name high in worship and encourage kids to help lead their peers in worship.
Interactive Bible Teaching
We use different styles of learning, activities, and discussion to help kids connect and apply God’s word to their lives beyond Sunday.
Safety
Fun
When kids feel safe, they can relax and learn (and so can their parents!). All volunteers are screened through an interview and federal background check, and security personnel monitors the building.

Kids Activities
Kids Choir
Our Kids’ choir ministry focuses on developing and equipping children to share god’s love with our community and church through weekly rehearsals and ministry performance opportunities and involves much more than singing. Children learn how to express their love for God through music, dance, and drama. We help them develop musical skills and a heart for worship through rehearsals, musical productions, and leading worship in church throughout the year.
Rehearsal: Wednesday Evenings 5:50 – 6:30pm (during the school year)
Location: Kids Center in Building D
There are no auditions to be a part of our kids’ choir program. We provide all music as well as online links for you to download the songs, videos, and music.

Family Activities
At Kids Rock, we want to create community with the whole family! Throughout the year, we plan family game nights, beach runs, pool parties and more. We'd love for you to come and connect to other families at Sarasota Baptist.

Baptism Classes
Kids Quest
Offered throughout the year to help parents determine whether or not their child is ready to be baptized. This class is recommended for children in grades 1 – 5 and requires that a parent (or guardian) attend the class with the child. We answer the following questions about baptism: Why should I get baptized? When should I be baptized? How should I be baptized? Contact Shannon Wosniak to schedule a time!
Kids Quest is a mid-week program designed to help kids dig deeper into what they've learned about the Bible! Beginning at 6:30 in the Gymnasium, kids will have fun game time, mission-focused activities, as well as an emphasis on bible memorization. There is no cost for Kids Quest, and your kids can jump in anytime!
Kids Summer Camps
Kidventure Camp
Kidventure is a week-long, action packed camp for kids grades K-5. Your kids won't want to miss this action packed week full of games, science lab experiments, engaging bible lessons, and more! Registration will open in Spring 2024.
Music and Drama Camp
Music and Drama Camp is a fun, Christ-centered camp giving children the opportunity to sing and act in a complete on-stage production to show off their God-given talents and abilities. Registration and more info coming Spring 2024.
