Good Lord’s Day morning to you! Do you know someone who has suffered oppression for the sake of Jesus’ name? Today you will be introduced to Dr. Paul Negrut who is a pastor from Romania who suffered much under Communist oppression; He is now the President of Emanuel University & serves as pastor of Emanuel Baptist Church in Oradea.
With a prayerful and alert heart, read Acts chapter 4.
‘Zero in’ on V. 12. What authority or name did the disciple’s champion as the source of eternal life? Pause and celebrate the Name of Jesus. What does His Name mean to you?
Focus on V. 13 – “When they observed the boldness of Peter and John… , they were amazed and recognized that they had been with Jesus.” Spend an extended time with the Lord today. Pray that people that you meet will recognize You have been with Jesus.
PRAY – “Heavenly Father, there is no place I would rather be than here in Your Love. Thank You in Your Presence there is fullness of joy. I desire to turn from the emptiness of __________________ and give my heart’s attention to You. Please allow Your Spirit to fill me so that others will recognize Your Son in my life, for I pray in Jesus’ wonderful name, Amen!”
