Acts chapter 5 builds the momentum of people “Living Jesus’ Mission.” As you prayerfully reflect on this chapter, What is God saying to you?
The movement of God always has opposition. Notice one of the opponents is irrelevant religion. One of the leaders was Gamaliel who gave insightful advice concerning the movement of Jesus’ love, life & love. He urged the angry religious crowd, “Stay away from these men and leave them alone. For if this plan or this work is of human origin, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You may even be found fighting against God.” Vs.38–39.
PAUSE & REFLECT – The movement and mission of Jesus is unstoppable; He cannot be overthrown! Express Your heart of love to Jesus for His movement in your life.
PRAY for your ‘Point of Mission’ – i.e. the Place and the people who are in your daily traffic patterns.
“Lord Jesus, You are an Unstoppable Savior who is mighty to rescue all who trust in You. I believe You are working _________________ (in my place of mission) and I yield my heart to join you. May Your Spirit give me an opportunity today to enter a conversation with _______________ to share the hope within me, for I humbly pray in Jesus’ name, Amen!”
