Read Acts chapter 12 and prayerfully reflect on what God is saying to you.
The persecution was fierce against the movement of the Gospel, as we read of James being martyred and Peter imprisoned.
‘Zero in’ on V. 5 – “So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was praying fervently to God for him.” What was the result of the prevailing prayers of the church?
PAUSE & RECALL a prayer that God answered for you in an unexpected way. Write out in a prayer to God expressing your heart of gratitude.
For whom are you praying to be miraculously converted to Jesus?
PRAY – “Abba Father, as I reflect on today’s reading, I see You do the impossible. You answer prayers in powerful ways. My heart humbly joins Your Spirit in praying for ________________________. I trust You to answer in Your way and Your timing for Your glory, in Jesus’ name, I humbly ask, Amen!”
