Place yourself ‘in the text’ as you read Acts chapter 24. What it would be like for Paul to be standing trail before the Roman governors with Jewish accusers? Pray for characteristics of Paul’s witness that you would desire to emulate.
Notice V.21 that Paul states he is on trail “concerning the resurrection of the dead.” Reflect on your testimony of the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. As you were baptized by water, you were ‘buried with Christ in baptism’ and ‘raised to walk in the newness of life’ (Romans 6: 4)
Pray for an opportunity to share the ‘living hope’ of Jesus’ resurrection life with someone in your daily traffic pattern.
