Today is Resurrection Sunday! Prayerfully read again Psalm 118; the goal is not for ‘you to read through the text’ but for ‘the text to read through you.’
‘ZOOM IN’ to Vs.22 – 24. We often quote, “This is THE DAY the Lord has made; let’s rejoice and be glad in it.” Pause and notice the context of THE DAY. It is THE DAY the Lord raised Jesus from the grave as OUR CORNERSTONE. This will be the text of today’s Easter message.
Write down an expression of your heart to the Lord, what THE DAY OF RESURRECTION means to you. Imagine being at the tomb of Jesus that first Easter morning, hearing the angel say, “Don’t be alarmed. You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He is risen! He is not here. See the place where they put Him.” (Mark 16:6).
