Prayerfully read and reflect on Ephesians chapter 4. What is the Lord saying to you?
‘Zoom in’ to Vs. 29 – “No foul language should come from your mouth, but only what is good for building up someone in need, so that it gives grace to those who hear.” Jesus as our Cornerstone gives shape to our speech. Confess any ways you have spoken negatively, with sarcasm to your spouse, family, or friend. Ask the Lord to empower you by His Spirit to “speak words that edify” today.
