Prayerfully reflect on Ephesians chapter 4, asking the Spirit to give you new insights to live His Word in your home. What is He saying to you? Write it down in your journal.
‘ZOOM IN’ to Vs. 15 – “Speaking the truth in love, let us grow in every way into Jesus” Conflict is inevitable in the home. It is important when conflict arises to do this verse. When you mess up, you must ‘fess up.’ This is offering a sincere, loving apology – “I was wrong. Will you forgive me?” – received by a receptive heart which responds, “I forgive you.”
Pray and ask the Lord to show you a relationship which would benefit from a vulnerable “speaking truth in love.” Go to this one and ‘do the book!’
