Prayerfully and carefully read Ephesians 2, considering how the Lord saved you. Circle the words “grace,” “mercy,” and “love.” Notice the adjectives which describe these actions of God toward you – “rich” “great” What does it do to your heart to recall how God has dealt with you by grace?
Consider a conflict you may be experiencing with an imperfect family member. How would God have you to respond? Yes, God would desire you to respond to an imperfect family member the way He has responded to you as an imperfect person. The grace you have ‘freely received’ Jesus desires you to ‘freely give.’ (Matthew 10: 8)
Who in your home might benefit from your gracious response? Pray for the Spirit to empower you to ‘give first.’
