Today, read and reflect on Exodus, chapter 17, to gain an understanding of who Joshua is. Yesterday, we discovered he was one of the 12 ‘Spies’ Moses sent forth to explore the promised land.

What do you learn about the importance of Moses’ arms being lifted to hold the rod of God in his hands? What role did Joshua have in the victory over the opposing army?
Pray to become a strong soldier in the Lord’s battles against the foes of spiritual darkness (see Eph. 6:10-18).
