Read and reflect on Deuteronomy, chapters 32 & 34. Moses appoints Joshua to be His successor, like a spiritual son.
What fears might Joshua be experiencing as He follows Moses as the leader of the Israelites?
‘Zoom in’ to 34:9 when Moses laid His hands on Joshua to bless him and lay on Him the responsibility for the next generation.
Every generation of Christ-followers is just one generation from extinction. Just as Moses entrusted Joshua, so the Lord desires for you to be His disciple who makes disciples. Pray for 2 Timothy 2:2 to become a reality at Sarasota Baptist Church. Pray that we can pass our Spirit-empowered faith on to the next generation.
