Joshua chapter 3 is just so good; you can't just read it one time. Let’s read this chapter once again.
‘Zoom in’ on V.1 – “Joshua started early the next morning….” Why do you think Joshua started early in the morning? What do you think he was doing early in the morning? (reflect on 1: 8, 9 for ideas).
Anytime God desires to do a powerful work ‘through you,’ he will often do a work ‘in you.’
ENCOUNTER JESUS in Mark 1: 35 – “Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, he got up, went out, and made his way to a deserted place; and there he was praying.” Imagine encountering Jesus praying; as you listen to Him, He is praying your ‘prayer list.’ Picture yourself kneeling beside Him, joining Him in prayer – before the day begins.
