As we reflect on Joshua facing the battle of Jericho, recall that he encountered the ‘Commander of the Lord’s army’ (Joshua 5: 13 – 15) & he responds in worship, with a listening and surrendering heart. With this is mind, read the N.T. book of Romans, chapter 12.
‘Zero in’ Vs. 1 – 2. As we encounter God’s mercy found in Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins, what is our response?
Imagine an altar; picture placing yourself on the altar to God as a ‘living sacrifice.’ Ask the Lord to consume you by the fire of the Spirit. Give all of yourself to Jesus, for He alone is worthy
