Prayerfully read Joshua, chapter 9 as we continue to move forward in our COURAGEOUS series. What are you learning from this chapter?
‘Zoom in’ to Vs.14 – 15 – Why was Joshua deceived? “Then the men of Israel took some of their provisions; but they did not ask counsel of the LORD. So Joshua made peace with them, and made a covenant with them to let them live; and the rulers of the congregation swore to them.”
Can you recall times you were ‘prayerless’ and experienced the enemy’s deception? We have all been deceived at one time or another in our lives because of ‘not inquiring of the Lord.’
REFLECT – What decision are you facing and need the Lord’s direction in? Ask for His direction; sit still in His Presence and listen to His Spirit’s prompting at the point of His Word.
