How can we avoid being deceived by the enemy into making quick and unwise choices? – (like the Israelites in Joshua, chapter 9.) Let’s read and reflect on the New Testament letter to the Ephesians, chapter 5. What verses stand out to you?
‘Zoom in’ to V. 15–18 – “Pay careful attention, then, to how you walk—not as unwise people but as wise—16 making the most of the time, because the days are evil. 17 So don’t be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is. … be filled by the Spirit.”
PRAY God’s Word for it is God’s will concerning your decisions this day – “Abba Father, may I be alert to the steps I make this day. Fill me with your wisdom to invest in people and activities that are eternal. May Your Spirit empower me to walk in Your Light, for I humbly pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
