Prayerlessness leads to unwise choices like the unwise choice Joshua made to enter covenant with the Gibeonites in Joshua, chapter 9. Let’s read and reflect on Jesus’ teaching concerning prayer in Luke’s Gospel, chapter 18. What do you learn about prayer?
‘Zero in’ to V. 1 – Why did Jesus share the parables in this account? “for them to pray always and not give up.” Prayerfulness leads to a life of spiritual power and blessing; prayerlessness leads to a life of spiritual void and defeat.
REFLECT – on areas of your life where you are lacking and confidently ask the Lord to help you. Be like the persistent widow and the neighbor with bold, audacious praying to Your Father in heaven.
