Today we begin SENT, a new series of sermons from the book of Jonah. We have read the book of Jonah this week twice. Let’s read Isaiah chapter 6; Isaiah was another O.T. prophet SENT by God.
ZOOM-IN to Vs. 8 –“Then I heard the voice of the Lord asking:
Who will I send?
Who will go for us?
I said: Here I am. SEND me.”
God SENT Isaiah to preach to the spiritually indifferent and complacent people of Israel. He was SENT because He listened to the voice of the Lord.
PRAY – “Word of God, speak to me; I am Your servant; let it be to me according to Your Word. Here am I! SEND me, Amen!”
