Let’s read Romans chapter 2. What’s the teaching presented in this chapter? Who needs the Gospel? Notice that both – the irreligious (Gentiles) without the knowledge of God and the religious (Jews) with knowledge about God – need the Good News of Jesus’ transforming love.
Let’s ZOOM-IN to Vs.4b – “Do you not recognize that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to repentance?”
Reflect on the kindness of God through our Lord Jesus Christ that led you to repentance. What does that do to your heart? Write a prayer of celebration of God’s kindness in a journal. Pray for religious people with a knowledge of God to experience the new birth by faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
