Let’s read Romans chapters 4 and 5 today. (We will spend the next three days in these chapters.) Highlight verses which communicate to us what the Good News is all about.
ZOOM-IN to chapter 4 Vs. 25 – “He (Christ) was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.” Think about Jesus dying on the cross. Why did He die? Why was He raised on the third day? For whom did He die? (Pray with wonder, “You died for me!”)
Think about it – “justification” means that the Eternal Judge of all declares you righteous in standing with the law. What does this reality do to your heart?
