Jonah is the ‘Prodigal Prophet’ – like the prodigal son in Jesus’ parable of Luke 15 who ran away from his father. Let’s read Luke chapter 15 again today and take notice of the heart of the father and the heart of the older brother.
What was the heart of the Father toward the prodigal son who returned? – see Vs. 20 – 24.
What was the heart of the older brother toward the prodigal brother who was returning? – see Vs. 25 -32
Pray for your heart towards lost sinners to become more like the father’s heart and less like the pouting heart of the older brother.
