Let’s read and reflect on Mark chapter 7. Notice the response of people’s heart to Jesus’ mission and message. What do you observe?
ZOOM IN to Vs. 6 – 7 Jesus confronted the self-righteous attitude of the irrelevant religious leaders – “This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.” How was Jonah like these leaders?
Notice Vs.24 – 30 - the Gentile mother’s humble attitude and request to Jesus. How did Jesus respond to her faith?
