Wow! Wow! Wow! Prayerfully reading through the Gospel of John is life changing as we observe Jesus being SENT by the Father into the world and how Jesus is now SENDING us on His mission. Let’s reflect on John chapters 6 and 7. What mission did the Father send Jesus to accomplish?
ZOOM IN to chapter 6 Vs.35 and chapter 7 Vs. 37 – Jesus is “the Bread of life” and “the Living water” SENT by the Father to satisfy the spiritual hunger and thirst of the world.
REFLECT on how you have experienced the satisfaction of Jesus in your life. Respond to God by writing a prayer of thanksgiving.
NOW – Consider half of the world’s population is ‘unreached’ with this wonderful message of Jesus’ love. PRAY for people who are experiencing spiritual darkness and hunger; PRAY for workers from our church to be SENT out on mission to share the Gospel of hope with these people.
