Jesus is ‘One greater than Jonah’; if Nineveh repented at the preaching of Jonah, how much more will our world be accountable to the preaching about Jesus? Let’s read John chapters 8 and 9. Why did God SEND His Son into the World? Write down your reflections.
ZOOM IN to chapter 9 Vs. 39 - Jesus said, “I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”
REFLECT on how Jesus has opened your spiritual eyes to know and see God. Celebrate in a prayer written to God for this miracle.
Now PAUSE to consider neighbors and even nations which are ‘blinded to the light of the glory of God in Christ Jesus’ (2 Cor.4:4). Pray for these to experience the miracle of seeing the Lord.
