This is the week of our SENT Missions Celebration. Pray for an outpouring of God’s Spirit on us and for many to sense a calling to be SENT by God. Jesus is ‘One greater than Jonah’. Let’s read John chapters 12 and 13. The Father SENT Jesus into the world. How did Jesus fulfill the mission? Write down several impressions.
ZOOM IN to chapter 12 Vs. 24–26 Jesus’ words – “Truly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces much fruit. … If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me. Where I am, there My servant also will be. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.”
EXPRESS YOUR HEART to Jesus – “Jesus, I desire to follow You and serve You. I do not hold my life dear to myself, but like a grain of wheat I desire to die to selfish ambitions. Speak to me of Your Mission and purpose for my life as being SENT by You, for I humbly pray in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
