Today most of our Mission Partners have arrived in Sarasota to be with us. Pray with anticipation as you meet them. Let’s read and reflect on John chapters 18 and 19. Was it easy or difficult for Jesus to be SENT by the Father to be the Savior of the world? What insights do you learn about being SENT by God?
ZOOM IN to chapter 18 Vs.37. Imagine yourself witnessing the conversation between Pilate and Jesus - “You are a king then?” Pilate asked. “You say that I’m a king,” Jesus replied. “I was born for this, and I have come into the world for this: to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth listens to My voice.”
Why was Jesus SENT into the world?
PRAY – “Jesus, I long to listen to Your voice and follow Your truth. Speak to me about Your calling for me to be SENT by You. Speak to our church family as we respond with willing hearts, for I humbly pray in Jesus’ name, Amen!”
