Let’s prayerfully read & reflect on Psalm chapter 24.
Background –
Psalms is an ancient song book for God’s people in the Old Testament. Join the Psalmist who penned this text by prayerfully confessing each line of this Psalm. ZOOM IN to Vs. 1 as the Lord is the Maker and Owner of all of creation. This Creator desires to be intimate with you as He invites you to “ascend to His mountain” by the cleaning power of the blood of Jesus.
Pause & Reflect –
Think of Creation around you; maybe outside of your window. Consider that Your Father in heaven owns all of this. Now read this text aloud: We are “children, also heirs—heirs of God and coheirs with Christ—if indeed we suffer with him so that we may also be glorified with him.” Romans 8:17. The God who created the Universe and made planet earth and formed you in your mother’s womb has shared this with you as an inheritance.
What does this do to your heart? Express your heart to the Lord by writing out a prayer.
