Let’s prayerfully read & reflect on PHILIPPIANS, CHAPTER 4.
A LITTLE BACKGROUND –
The apostle Paul is writing from prison to the 1st century believers in Philippi expressing gratitude for their support and partnership with him to advance the Gospel. He shares several insights that are empowering for us today.
Zoom into Vs. 19 – The Real God of the Bible is the One who meets all our needs according to His riches in glory. What an amazing description of the God who loves us!
What needs has the Lord met in your life? Write them down in a journal and write out a prayer of thanksgiving.
“Abba Father, as I write down the many needs you have met in my life spiritually, relationally, wellness, financially and vocation – I am in awe. I confess with this text that I can do all things through Jesus who strengthens me, for I humbly trust You in Jesus’ name, Amen!”
