Christmas Devotional Day 9 - December 3

Let’s prepare our hearts as we celebrate the greatest event in history, Christmas – when God became man to rescue us!

Let’s prayerfully read the Gospel of John chapter 1, the entire chapter.

ZOOM INTO – Verse 43 – 50 of Nathanael’s encounter with Jesus. Nathanael asked Jesus, “How do you KNOW me?”… Jesus answered, “when you were under the fig tree, I SAW YOU.”

Imagine asking Nathanael – “What’s Christmas mean to you?” He may respond, “Christmas means God knows me and sees me.”

As you engage in conversations about Jesus, begin by asking a someone in your traffic pattern (maybe at a gathering), ‘What does Christmas mean to you?’ Carefully listen to their answer, then share that Christmas means to you that GOD KNOWS & SEES YOU!

LET’S PRAY FOR PEOPLE who feel invisible to know their value and worth to God who so loved them that He gave His one and only Son. Share John 3: 16 with someone today (grocery worker, gas station attendant, etc.) Let’s gossip the Gospel!

LET’S INVITE neighbors and friends to join us for tonight’s Christmas festival on our church campus beginning at 7 p.m.
