Now let’s continue on the ‘sanctified imagination’ tour by going all the way back to the beginning.
Read and reflect on Genesis chapter 3. What stands out to you in this chapter?
Imagine how God’s heart must have felt when Eve and Adam ate of the forbidden tree and sin entered, severing his intimate relationship with man.
Let’s ZERO INTO Verse 15 – Notice the promise God made to the deceitful serpent – “I will put hostility between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring. He (the Woman’s seed) will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.”
Now let’s imagine Adam and Eve how they might answer the ‘key question’ - “WHAT DOES CHRISTMAS MEAN TO YOU?”
Christmas is so special because Jesus has defeated Satan! Express your heart to God in a written prayer for the wonder that the ‘Son of God’ became the ‘Son of man’ so the ‘sons/ daughters of men’ can become the ‘sons/ daughters of God.’
