Let’s read Proverbs chapter 30 using the H.E.A.R. method:
H- highlight several verses that stand out to you.
E – explain the verse(s) in your own words of what God is saying to you.
A – apply the verse to your life.
R – respond in prayer by writing your heart to God.
Let’s focus on V. 5 – “Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.” Pause and reflect on a Bible promise that motivates you to live a pure and holy life different than the world. Reflect on Bible texts that have filled your heart with the securing love of God.
Parenting IRL challenge: Have a conversation with your child today about how pure and precious God’s Word is to you, and the influence of God’s Word to live a pleasing life in God’s sight.
