Today is the Lord’s day! In preparation of today’s sermon on His triumphal entry, let’s read Mark chapter 11, verses 1 – 33. What is God speaking to you from the text?
Notice Jesus cleanses the temple. Why did He do this? Not just for their corruption & greed, but for their neglect of prayer. “It is written, 'My house is a house of prayer,' but you have made it a 'den of thieves.’”
Question to reflect: The Father desires His people to be “A House of Prayer for all nations.” If the church is not a ‘House of prayer,’ then whose house are we?
Pray for movements of prayer among us as God’s people. Ask the Lord to unite you with a movement of prayer in Sarasota... maybe in our church fellowship or your neighborhood or place of employment or school.
“Every movement of God can be traced to a kneeling figure.” – D. L. Moody
