Let’s read how the disciples prepare for the Passover in Matthew chapter 26, verses 17 – 25. Is there one verse or thought that stands out to you today? Talk to God about it.
Imagine being one of the disciples sitting at the table and hearing Jesus say, “One of you will betray me.” Whisper the question to your fellow disciples – “Is it I who will betray you?”
A healthy practice of becoming a Spirit-empowered disciple of Jesus is often taking times of introspection (looking inward and searching your heart).
Pray the words of Psalm 139:23–24,
“Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my concerns.
See if there is any offensive way in me;
lead me in the everlasting way. “
Confess and forsake wrong thoughts, emotions, or actions the Spirit reveals to you.
