Raised to Walk Devo Day 19 - April 19

Let’s prayerfully reflect on Romans chapter 4. As you read the passage, do the following:

H- highlight the verses that stand out to you.
E – explain the verse(s) in your own words of what God is saying to you.
A – apply the verse to your life. (What would it look like to live this truth in your life?)
R – respond in prayer by writing your heart to God.

Let’s Zero in V. 25 - “Jesus was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to
life for our justification.” Notice the word ‘raised’ ; we are RAISED TO WALK with Jesus
in His resurrection. Because of Jesus’ death for our sins & your faith in Him, you are
justified in His sight; Because of His resurrection, you have new life.

Express your heart in prayer by praying Vs.7, 8 :
“Abba Father, You have forgiven me of my lawless acts and I am blessed & so happy!
You have covered my sins.. putting them in the depths of the sea. My heart is filled with
joy and happiness at the thought You will never charge me with sin. I love You with all
my heart, because Your first loved me with all your heart, for I humbly pray in Jesus’
name, Amen!”
